About the Role

F5 is looking for a Business Systems Analyst III to join our License and Fulfillment team within the F5 Digital Organization. In this role, you will be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and optimizing the systems and processes that power the licensing of F5's full portfolio of products — including hardware, software, and SaaS offerings. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for licensing and fulfillment systems, processes, and data flows across F5's product portfolio

  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams

  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation

  • Partner with engineering and development teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new capabilities

  • Support the end-to-end license lifecycle, including provisioning, entitlement management, renewals, telemetry and fulfillment workflows

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement within licensing and fulfillment operations

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including business process flows, data dictionaries, and system configuration guides

  • Lead and facilitate working sessions, sprint reviews, and stakeholder meetings

  • Define and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans, and coordinate testing with business stakeholders

  • Support integrations between licensing platforms and adjacent systems such as CRM (Salesforce), Oracle EBS, and Product Lifecycle Management tools

  • Respond to, and help manage incidents. Participate in RCA activities and assist with defining SLOs and SLIs for business stakeholders

  • Available for escalations outside office hours

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally in a technology or SaaS company

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence

  • Proficiency with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Zuora, Oracle or similar licensing/ERP platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Experience writing user stories, use cases, and functional specifications

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of F5 product lines (BIG-IP, NGINX, Distributed Cloud, etc.)

  • Experience with API integrations or familiarity with integration platforms

  • Strong understanding of license models (perpetual, subscription, usage-based) and fulfillment workflows

  • Experience with software licensing, entitlement management, or fulfillment operations

Technical Skills & Technologies

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with some or all the following:

  • Microsoft Azure — Cloud Technologies (e.g. Azure Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB)

  • T-SQL / SQL Server — writing and analyzing queries for data investigation, reporting, and validation

  • TypeScript / JavaScript — ability to read, write, or review code in collaborative development environments

  • REST APIs — familiarity with API integration patterns and troubleshooting

  • Reporting & BI Tools — Snowflake, Tableau, or similar

  • Agile Tooling — Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
