We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in Israel, bringing their technical acumen, strategic thinking, and consultative skills to help shape the future of digital innovation for customers in the region.

Job Overview:

This role blends sales and technical responsibilities, forming a critical part of the sales organization. As a Solutions Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and customer relationship management skills to support sales initiatives and provide tailored solutions to overcome customers’ business and technical challenges.

Your success will depend on your ability to articulate the F5 value proposition, share technical knowledge about products and ecosystem solutions, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers. While F5 provides training and certification to keep your skills sharp, you will be expected to bring knowledge of industry trends and technology advancements related to application delivery, security, cloud environments, and AI.

Primary Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise and Solution Development

  • Design and execute complex technical solutions that align with F5 offerings and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to drive change requests and product customization strategies.
  • Provide advanced systems engineering expertise, including guidance in , container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes/Openshift), and DevOps tools.
  • Evaluate customer IT environments and map out opportunities, from public cloud applications to on-premise deployments.
  • Create detailed specifications for proof of concepts and customer solutions, ensuring feasibility and scalability.

Customer Engagement and Advisory

  • Partner with Sales Account Managers to deliver presentations highlighting the technical and business benefits of F5’s solutions.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by consistently delivering consultative support and fostering collaboration.
  • Identify customer pain points and translate them into viable technical solutions that solve challenges, mitigate risks, and create business opportunities.
  • Lead strategic engagements while positioning F5 as an indispensable component in application security, delivery, and AI environments.

Channel and Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with channel partner teams to establish and qualify technical competence, as well as to provide training on F5 technology solutions.
  • Actively support partner sales initiatives and enable partners with guidance on F5’s competitive differentiation.

Post-Sales Collaboration and Support

  • Assist with product escalations and work with Technical Support Engineering teams to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Communicate customer feedback to engineering and product teams, contributing to the continuous evolution of F5’s portfolio.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of pre-sales or solutions engineering expertise, ideally with exposure to Public Clouds, DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS industries.
  • Solid knowledge of virtualization, application security, AI infrastructure, and modern container architectures like Kubernetes.
  • Strong coding/scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Golang), and Linux systems knowledge.
  • Advanced proficiency in Web protocols (HTTP, TLS, SSL), PKI concepts, Certificate Authorities, and data center/cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken ,Hebrew,English.
  • Collaboration-driven approach with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce.com, Sharepoint, Highspot, and AI-oriented presales readiness programs.
  • Mandatory - Israeli Government security clearance.
  • Proven experience working with the Defense sector is required.

Work Model and Travel

This is a hybrid role, combining work from home and the office. The role also includes on-site time with customers and partners. Frequent travel within the region is required, with occasional travel outside the territory as needed. Flexibility to support business needs outside standard working hours may be required.
