Work Experience

Expertise in AI and ML concepts and algorithms.

2+ years of experience in a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role.

Completion of a Computer Science degree, coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience.

Skilled at communicating technical ideas to a non-technical audience.

Experience coding with Python, JavaScript and/or Typescript, with at least one solo ML-related project on GitHub that you can share written in one of these languages.

Data analysis and data visualization skills.

Bonus points for previous startup experience.

What You Will Do

Work with speech, text and/or image data to train, test and deploy machine learning models.

Design annotation tasks, annotation schema, and annotation quality assurance workflows to create the datasets needed for training, testing and deploying ML models.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to contribute to end-to-end ML product deployments.

Monitor and improve performance of ML models deployed to production.

Research the viability, applicability, and licensing of open-source machine learning models for a variety of Natural Language Processing and/or Computer Vision tasks. Then, integrate, fine tune and/or retrain these models for the purpose of Poised feature development.
