Role Overview :-
The role will coordinate with Buyers, suppliers, warehouses, logistics providers and internal commercial, trade finance and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of commodity transactions.
The individual will be responsible for coordinating the financial/payment verification and physical movement of goods, from shipment release through final delivery.

What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a hands-on operator who takes ownership of a transaction from payment confirmation through physical delivery.
The ideal candidate will actively monitor the entire transaction, identify issues early, follow up with all stakeholders, and ensure that the right goods reach the right Buyer at the right time and only after the required financial conditions have been satisfied.

Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Transaction Management
● Manage the operational execution of commodity trading transactions.
● Coordinate with Buyers, suppliers, warehouses, freight providers and internal teams.
● Maintain trackers covering payment, inventory, shipment, documentation and delivery.
● Ensure timelines and contractual requirements are met, with proactive follow-up.

2. Payment Verification & Release Control
● Verify payment status before goods are released for shipment or delivery.
● Coordinate with Finance/Trade Finance to confirm required payment conditions and approvals.
● Ensure no shipment is released without required payment confirmation and authorization.
● Escalate payment delays, discrepancies or exceptions promptly.
● Maintain records of payment confirmations and release approvals.

3. Supplier & Warehouse Coordination
● Coordinate inventory, quantity, quality, packing and shipment readiness with suppliers and warehouses.
● Coordinate loading, pickup and release of commodities.
● Ensure warehouse instructions are accurately executed and resolve discrepancies.

4. Logistics & Shipment Coordination
● Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines and other logistics providers.
● Monitor shipments from origin through final delivery, including ETAs and delays.
● Resolve transportation, documentation and delivery issues proactively.

5. Buyer Coordination & Delivery
● Act as the operational point of contact for Buyers.
● Coordinate delivery schedules, requirements and shipment updates.
● Manage final delivery and obtain proof of delivery.
● Resolve shortages, damages, delays and other delivery discrepancies.
