Develop Health is on a mission to use AI to radically accelerate access to life-saving medications. By automating complex, manual healthcare processes—like benefit verification and prior authorization—we’ve achieved 10x revenue growth over the past year, growing from $0 to >$10M in annual recurring revenue in less than 2 years, and currently help more than 400,000 new patients every month.
We’re partnering with some of the largest pharmacy benefit managers and payers in the nation, revolutionizing how healthcare interactions occur by eliminating human delays and inefficiencies. Our small, elite team of founders and engineers have previously launched and exited successful healthcare startups including Rupa Health and Canvas Medical. We are now scaling rapidly following a major funding round.
About The Role:
We launched our Life Sciences division last year, partnering directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve patient access, accelerate therapy adoption, and remove barriers between patients and the medications they need.
We’re looking for experienced industry leaders who want to help redefine how pharmaceutical access programs operate, and we're looking to recruit a Client Success Manager - Life Sciences to manage and grow partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers using our platform.
This role serves as the primary owner of pharmaceutical client programs on the Develop Health platform, responsible for ensuring program success, building strong manufacturer relationships, and helping clients achieve their patient access objectives.
You will work closely with pharmaceutical stakeholders, including brand, patient services, and market access teams, to ensure programs are operating effectively, delivering measurable value, and aligned with the brand’s commercialization goals.
This role combines client leadership, analytics, program management, and cross-functional coordination. You will partner closely with teams across product, operations, data, engineering, and sales to deliver strong outcomes for clients and patients.
This position reports to the Head of Life Sciences, and will involve up to 35% travel. The role is also hybrid, with an expectation that you'll spend 3 days on-site in Menlo Park (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) every week.
What You'll Do – Impact In Your First 3–6 Months:
Own the day-to-day relationship for ~5 large pharma and life sciences accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.
Manage program delivery, including KPI tracking, NRS reporting, and coordination with our clinical operations team.
Lead regular business reviews with pharma stakeholders to demonstrate ROI and expand scope.
Collaborate with our Head of Life Sciences & Partnerships on contract renewals, upsells, and new program launches.
Coordinate internally across product, operations, and data teams to ensure seamless delivery against SOWs.
What You'll Own – Driving Growth Beyond 12 Months:
Build the pharma account management function, including reporting frameworks, QBR templates, and escalation processes.
Develop deep expertise in our pharma sponsors' therapeutic areas and commercial strategies to become a trusted strategic advisor.
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support pipeline development for new pharma partnerships.
Help shape our pharma product offerings based on direct customer feedback and market intelligence.
Support compliance workflows and data governance as manufacturer contracts scale.
What You'll Bring On Day 1:
8–10+ years of experience in a client-facing role within the pharmaceutical ecosystem
Experience working with pharmaceutical patient access programs, hub services, or commercialization teams
Strong understanding of patient access workflows, reimbursement processes, or patient support programs
Experience presenting program insights and recommendations to senior pharmaceutical stakeholders
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
