HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Lead by doing: Carry your own strategic customer engagements in HK and Taiwan, demonstrating the standard of technical selling you expect from your team.

  • Coach & develop your team: Manage, mentor, and develop four Technical Sales Engineers across Hong Kong and Taiwan — running regular 1:1s, joint customer calls, and skills development sessions to accelerate individual and team growth.

  • Enable the China Technical Sales community: Serve as the primary enablement and training resource for Technical Sales managers across China — delivering product and technical training, sharing competitive insights, and building repeatable enablement content that scales.

  • Own product escalations: Be the first point of escalation for complex technical and product issues raised by Technical Sales managers in China — triaging, resolving, and closing the feedback loop back to Product and Engineering.

  • Drive POC and evaluation success: Lead or support the most technically complex proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements in the sub-region, ensuring they demonstrate clear business and technical value.

  • Partner with regional sales leadership: Work closely with the regional sales leader and Taiwan Country Manager — aligning Technical Sales coverage, pipeline priorities, and customer engagement plans to drive consistent revenue growth.

  • Champion the customer voice: Capture and communicate customer wins, field feedback, and technical gaps from HK, Taiwan, and China to the AP Technical Sales Leader and Cohesity’s global product teams — ensuring the voice of Greater China shapes the roadmap.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 6–10 years in enterprise technology pre-sales, with at least 2 years in a team lead or first-line management role.

  • Outstanding technical depth in data security, backup, data management, or secondary storage — you can go deep in a whiteboard session and still land the business value.

  • Natural coach and mentor — you get genuine satisfaction from making the people around you better, whether through a joint call debrief or a structured training session.

  • Enablement and training instinct — proven ability to design and deliver product and technical training that sticks, at SE and Technical Sales manager level.

  • Strong escalation ownership — comfortable owning complex product and technical issues end-to-end, navigating internally across Product, Engineering, and Support to drive resolution.

  • Credible with senior stakeholders — able to engage confidently with a regional sales leader, Taiwan Country Manager, and customer CTO/CISO without needing a director in the room.

  • Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred — fluency in English plus Mandarin to operate effectively across HK, Taiwan, and China.

  • Willingness to travel across HK, Taiwan, and mainland China to support your team, customers, and China Technical Sales community.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
